6-Drawer Rolling Tool Cabinet with Rubberwood Top and Braked Castors

A rolling tool cabinet keeps every spanner, socket and screwdriver in its own drawer and brings them to wherever the job is - beside the car, next to the bench or out to the driveway. Six full-width steel drawers run on ball-bearing slides and are lined with non-slip rubber mats so tools stay where you put them. The solid rubberwood top doubles as a work surface for small jobs, and the side push handle and four castors, two of them with brakes, make it easy to move and then lock in place. Slate-blue drawers with brushed aluminium handles sit in a matt black steel body.

Specification

Care

Dust the powder-coated steel with a soft cloth and remove marks with warm water and a little mild washing-up liquid, then dry it. Avoid scouring pads, solvents and pressure washers. If the coating is chipped through to bare metal, touch it up with a matching metal paint so rust cannot start, and wipe up spilt oil, road salt and garden chemicals promptly. Check the bolts, hinges and feet once a year and re-tighten them if needed.

Safety

Lock the castor brakes before you open the drawers, open only one loaded drawer at a time and keep the heaviest tools in the lower drawers so the cabinet stays stable. Keep within the stated drawer and top load ratings, move the cabinet only on a smooth floor with the drawers closed, and never climb or sit on it.
