160 cm Steel Workbench with Rubberwood Top, Pegboard Back Panel and 2 Drawers

A complete workstation for the garage or shed in one bench. The 160 x 60 cm solid rubberwood worktop gives you room to build, repair and paint, the pegboard back panel keeps the tools you use most in sight and within reach, and the narrow top shelf holds tins, jars and chargers. Two steel drawers under the worktop take smaller tools and fixings, and the full-width lower shelf takes toolboxes and cases. The matt black steel frame carries up to 300 kg on the worktop, and adjustable feet stop it rocking on an uneven floor.

Specification

Care

The rubberwood worktop is a solid hardwood finished with a clear oil. Brush off shavings after work and wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth; do not leave standing water, solvents or glue on the wood. Re-oil the top with a worktop or hardwood oil once or twice a year, or after sanding out deep marks. Wipe the powder-coated steel with a damp cloth and mild soap and dry it.

Safety

Place the workbench on a flat, level floor and adjust the feet so it does not rock. Spread heavy loads across the worktop and keep within the stated load rating; do not stand or sit on the bench. Clamp workpieces securely before cutting or drilling. Assembly needs two adults; wear gloves, as sheet-steel edges can be sharp.
