Height-Adjustable Workbench 120 cm with Rubberwood Top and Lower Shelf

Most back ache at the bench comes from a worktop at the wrong height. This 120 cm workbench lets you choose: the telescopic steel legs set the worktop anywhere from 75 to 100 cm in 5 cm steps, low for sanding and assembling, higher for fine work or for working standing up. Each leg locks with a steel pin and stands on a levelling pad, the 120 x 60 cm solid rubberwood worktop takes up to 250 kg, and the lower steel shelf keeps boxes and cases off the floor. It suits a garage, a shed workshop or a hobby room.

Specification

Care

The rubberwood worktop is a solid hardwood finished with a clear oil. Brush off shavings after work and wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth; do not leave standing water, solvents or glue on the wood. Re-oil the top with a worktop or hardwood oil once or twice a year, or after sanding out deep marks. Wipe the powder-coated steel with a damp cloth and mild soap and dry it.

Safety

Place the workbench on a flat, level floor and adjust the feet so it does not rock. Spread heavy loads across the worktop and keep within the stated load rating; do not stand or sit on the bench. Clamp workpieces securely before cutting or drilling. Assembly needs two adults; wear gloves, as sheet-steel edges can be sharp.
